Parental Engagement
Our parental engagement programme has been relaunched this academic year 2025/2026. Our core belief as a school is in the value of working in partnership with parents to collaboratively enable their children to thrive. Parents have been given the opportunity to engage with the following to date:
· Welcome to the New Academic Year (Led by SLT) ·
. Open classroom event to meet your child’s teacher.
· Phonics workshop for Reception and Y1 .
· Y6 PGL Residential Visit Information Session
· Y4 Led Harvest Celebration
· My Plan Parental Meeting – review for all children on My Plans.
· Parental Vision Planning
· Y4 ISingPop Concert at St Catharines
· Y3 Forest Sessions
· Time To Talk – Extended opportunity to meet with parents and discuss your child’s progress.
· Kingsholm Star
· Y5 Reading Cafe
· Family Cookery Club
· Y6 Led Remembrance Service
. EYFS Singalong
We have also reinstated a termly parental forum to act as a two way informal communication and discussion platform between school and parents. The aim will be to listen to views, gain understanding, explain context, and give feedback on discussed actions which have been undertaken. The forum will not address any issues raised about individual pupils as these should be discussed with class based staff. The first one took place on the 26th November, and the questions posed were sent out to all parents in our school newsletter.
Please keep an eye out for class dojo, school ping and in the newsletter for information on everything we offer.
Please contact me via the school office on 01452 530777 or come and chat on the playground, if you have any suggestions or queries.
