Attendance News
Whole school overall attendance is 92.2%, which is below the national expectation of 97%.

Punctuality:
Total minutes missed this week: 1751 which equates to over 29 hours.
Reminder that pupils should be in school by 8.50am. All children who are late need to be brought into school by a parent/carer to sign them in using a late slip with a reason for lateness. If you know they will be late due to an appointment, please ring to pre-order lunch if they have a hot lunch at school.
Latest News
- Up to Date Contact Details - A reminder to all parents / carers to update the school office of any changes to your contact details e.g house move, new mobile or work place number and any changes to a child's medical or dietary needs.
- Young Voices Concert for Parents / Carers - You are very welcome to come along and watch your children to perform in the Young Voices Concert on Monday 26th February - 3:30pm in the Oak Hall. Please note the slight change in time.
- Easter Services at St Catharine's Church - 19th March - All the children will be walking to Church for either the morning serivce or afternoon service depening on which house they are in. We have unfortunately cancelled the Y4 Family share which was scheduled for the 20th March, however the Y4 children will take an active part in the services. Parents and Carers are invited to come along and watch, more details to follow.
- Reminder - School Office Hours - The school office opening times are 8am -4pm. Parents / Carers, please remain outside the white doors prior to dropping the children at Breakfast Club which is open from 7:45 - 8:15.
- Next newsletter - The next edition of the newsletter will be available on Friday 8th March.
School Experience - Young Voices Concert
The children in the Young Voices Club and the Year 4 children who also attended the Young Voices Concert yesterday had an amazing experience. Despite a very long day the children had a wonderful time singing and dancing. As you will see from the photos a fantastic time was had by all.

Kingsholm DIY SOS - 16th March
Thank you very much to all parents and carers who have already told us they are coming. Lots more have mentioned it in passing but we don't have you on our list, yet!
Please do let the office know if you are able to come, we will start at 9am and continue until 4pm, but if you are only able to help for either the morning or afternoon session, it's absolutely fine, we will be very pleased to have your help. If you have a trade or a specific skill, it's great, but not vital - it's amazing what can be achieved by goodwill and enthusiasm!
We are planning the food we are able to offer, and want to make sure there is enough for everyone, so please do let us know!

World Book Day - Thursday 7th March
It is World Book day on Thursday 7th March, The theme is 'Read your way.' This is all about promoting reading for pleasure and giving children a choice. During this week we also have 'The Really Wild Reading festival' and Denmark Road pupils will be returning to do the buddy read with each class.
Children are encouraged to come to school dressed up as their favourite book character, with the book attached if possible. Please see the posters regarding the costume swap at the library. We always love to see home made costumes, so please do not spend any money purchasing a costume.
