Whole school overall attendance is 94%, which is below our school target of 95%.

Reminder that pupils should be in school by 8.50am. All children who are late need to be brought into school by a parent/carer to sign them in using a late slip with a reason for lateness. If you know they will be late due to an appointment, please ring to pre-order lunch if they have a hot lunch at school.

Thank you - Thank you to all the parents/ carers who came to the class Time To Talk meetings, we hope you found these useful. For class 2M and 3U these will be rescheduled and information will be coming out in due course.

Thank you - We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kind harvest festival donations which have made their way to the Gloucester Food Bank (GFB). Each year, with your wonderful donations, we collect a substantial amount of food. We and the GFB are incredibly grateful for your generosity.

Thank you - To our wonderful PTA who kindly gave their time to unpack, display and then pack up the tins, packets, jars, boxes.

Reminder for Harvest Festival - Our Harvest Festival this year will be held at St Catharine's Church on Friday 18th October. The Northgate and Southgate service will be in the morning and the plan is to leave school at 9am, the service will then start once all the children have arrived (9:40 approximately) and will last for approximately 20 minutes. We will then walk the children back to school.
- Children in Eastgate and Westgate will leave the school at 1:30pm. The service will then start once all the children have arrived (approximately 2pm) and as in the morning will last for approximately 20 mins. We will then walk the children back to school. Parents/ carers are warmly invited to attend. If you are able to help with walking the children to and from the Church, please contact the school office.

Year 6 PGL Residential - We wish all our Year 6 children who are attending the PGL residential a wonderful time away next week.

End of Term and INSET DAY - The end of term is next Wednesday 23rd October. The school will be closed on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th October for staff training.

Volunteers - We are so grateful to parents / carers who volunteered last year to help with trips and activities. Please contact the school office if you are able to help this year. We are also still looking for parents/carers/grandparents to help with Forest School. Do get in touch with the school office if you can help.

Discos - We are changing the way we run the school discos. These are being organised by the PTA and are taking place, the first week back after half term. More information to follow on SchoolPing.
- Postponed Safeguarding Event - 'Keeping our children safe in Gloucester for KS2' has been postponed due to faciliators availability.
