School Trips / Experiences

We've had some great trips and experiences over the past couple of weeks.

A group of Year 5 children took park in a Science Workshop at  Denmark Road High School.

The Year 6 residential to PGL Liddington was a huge success.  Largely the weather was great and the children enjoyed taking part in lots of activities as you will see below.

Disappointingly, the Year 2 trip to the Waterways museum was postponed due to the dreadul downpours. We hope to reschedule the trip in due course.

GSP Science Fair

Last Tuesday,  a group of  year 5 pupils visited Denmark Road High School to participate in the (GSP) Gloucester School's Partnership science fair. They got to explore the different stations which each school brought, visit the science labs for a moss safari and take part in experiments.

Year 6 PGL Residential and Year 6 Activity Days

For those Year 6 children who attended PGL they had great adventures taking part in a number of activites which included a crate challenge, giant swing, sensory trail, zip wire, raft building, climbing and a silent disco.

For those Year 6 children who were unable to attend the residential, they had a fantastic few days here at school taking part in activities such as art, making volcanoes which erupted and making and baking pizza, garlic bread and brownies which they ate for lunch.

The Simon Flynn Educational Foundation

The Simon Flynn Educational Foundation was formed to honour the memory of Simon Flynn, an inspirational and much-loved primary school teacher and private tutor who worked in Cheltenham and Gloucester.

They work to advance the education of children living in Gloucestershire, England (primarily) by funding the provision of educational services, equipment, and facilities.

They are currently funding a number of projects for us, as Simon taught here for many years, and the school meant so much to him and he to us.

We are very grateful for their support.
